Follow Your Heart
When I follow my heart it gives me joy, happiness, inspiration, and a feeling of inner peace. It fills my body with a good and healthy energy that generates positive and happy thoughts. It gives me the power to create from my higher potential, and in this process, I just radiate out this positive energy to people around me, and they benefit from this too.
The result is a healthy body, a healthy mind, healthy relationships, and a happy soul. This is a simple equation when I look at it logically, but from my human experience, it seems so much complicated.
The Natural Guiding System
I think that somewhere on the way, I have forgotten about my natural guiding system. It has many names, soul, heart, gut feeling, intuition, higher self, or whatever I prefer or what resonates with me so I can understand it. It is that deeper level of consciousness that knows when something is really true or not to me.
When I don't listen to this guiding system or don't believe in it, I start ignoring my true self. This gives me a feeling of separation. This is not a nice feeling and I start to look for a way to get rid of it in the external world. I start to live like I am not good enough. I start to care about what everybody thinks of me. I begin to adapt to fit in, and my feeling of loneliness escalates. I start to live in fear. This becomes my ego who holds me, hostage, in its own fear of the truth.
Awareness is always the first step to the process of change. Without it, I am lost. Awareness is simply to see the truth as it is and accept it. Then I am ready to make a change.
This is where the going gets tough and the tough gets going. I start to know who I really am by recognizing who I'm not. This is self-awareness. When I know who I am I can create the life that I want, a life that I love. In that way I can give my children the opportunity to do the same because children do not do as we say, they do as we do.
This is how I take back my power...
